#First5 video review and Giveaway!

IMG_1049I first discovered Proverbs 31 Ministries in February 2011. At the time, their website was way different, plus they had a magazine. I very quickly got involved with the Online Bible Studies led by Melissa Taylor and even had the joy of volunteering with OBS until the end of 2012.

Let me tell you, I have been waiting since 2011 for Proverbs 31 Ministries to come out with their own App. I would pop into iTunes every once in a while, just to see if there was one available.

Well, the wait is finally over! TODAY is the official launch of the Proverbs 31 Ministries First 5 App!

What my happy dance looks like…

They pre-released the App Monday July 20th, giving people a chance to poke around and set up their alerts. I have to tell you friends, this App is beautiful!

If you haven’t already downloaded this FREE App, here is a little tour to get you excited!

Obviously, I’m not giving away the First5 App…because it’s FREE. What I’d like to giveaway is a copy of The Book of John Experience Guide.

Leave a comment below answering the following question before Friday:

1.  How do you start your day with Jesus? Do you have a devotion or Bible study you are working on?

2.  BONUS entry for telling me what color pen I used in my Experience Guide (hint, you have to watch the video to find out!)

3.  Click the Rafflecopter image to gain more chances to win!

  1. The app is AMAZING! Not only did I lavish in God’s love during my quiet time, but my daughter used it for hers as well. I agree with Wendy- your heart is so beautifully generous! Love you Heather!

  2. Loved your video! I’ve been wondering what the inside of the experience guide looked like and your video was the only place I found that. Thanks for the chance to win 🙂 I normally start my day by reading in my Jesus Calling devotional. It’ll now be the First5 app!

  3. Thanks for the review! I just found your blog because, like Jenn, I was trying to find a peek inside of the experience guide. I have 2 little boys under 3, so my quiet time happens at naptime instead of first thing. I’m doing Wendy Pope’s Read Thru the Word, but I’m going to try to wake up a little earlier and do first5 from now on. Your pen was purple 🙂

  4. I really love this app and I love the book of John in fact John 1:1-4 are favorite verses in the bible. I’d love to win the journal so I can go deeper in my understanding of this book.

  5. I start each day with some quiet time, intercessory prayer, and just started using First5 devotion 2 days ago. I have the devotion I am working on but I do not have a study. Funds are tight since my meningioma tumor was removed and since we lost our business due to our lease not being renewed so they could give it to their son. (Without Notice of course) Who would have ever thought that $13 plus shipping would be a lot of money. Please consider me for the “The book of John Experience guide”
