May I pray for you?

Pure and simple. I would like to pray for you today. If you have a request feel free to leave a comment. You may choose to simply write “unspoken” and I will still pray for you.

I would also like to invite you to pray for one another. Pray for the two people who comment below yours. If you happen to be the last person to comment, pray for the two above.

  1. Thank-you for the gift of prayer, I would like to ask for prayer for my son to return to the Lord with all his heart, for his spiritual an emotionally healing. And for myself to wait on the Lord to work in his life

  2. Heather, what a beautiful offer. I would love prayers today. I have been facing some significant health issues and have started to become discouraged with the thought that no one can find out what is happening with me. Please pray that I can remember that The Great Physician knows what is happening with me, and He is able to lead me to the right care. And while I am waiting, please pray that my life will be a testimony of His love and goodness and not of my impatience and selfishness.

The only thing that gets me through on a daily basis is knowing that the Lord knows what He is doing and why He is putting me through all this. Adriana, praying for wisdom and discernment about whether to work for someone else or begin a new venture. Aren’t we fortunate that our God can see the road ahead for each one of us. Praying that you will have patient trust whil God works this out.
I need prayer for my son, whose wife is not allowing him to see his children. He is a believer, not a drinker or abuser. They had just moved down south and he was planning to stay and work, saving more money for a few months, then join them last spring. This just came out of left field and she is not willing to go for counselling. He is presently paying the mortgage and some of the other bills, yet he cannot live there. My mother’s heart breaks for him. He misses his kids and of course, I am not allowed to see them either. Thanks, Heather and ladies!

I’m so sorry for what your family is going through, especially your son and the children. I will lift them all in prayer for God to bring reconciliation and for the truth to be evident. I pray that they will be able to communicate and that he will be allowed to see his children. The Lord has a plan to work good in this as well, Romans 8:28 For we know that ALL things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
I know it is hard to watch our children suffer so I will pray for you as you stand by him and support and encourage him.
Again, so honored to be able to lift others in prayer!!

  11. Heather thank you for your kind offer of prayer. I totally believe God hears our prayers and when two or more agree on earth it shall be done (don’t remember the reference). My hubby shortly has to write a computerised exam for right of abode here in England. He’s terried, we’re both in our fifties and he’s not computer literate and he has to take the exam on the computer. Plus there’s a finance problem, with the economic crash he’s been unable to find work, we came here 4 years ago from South Africa expecting a job to be waiting for him, but it all turned out to be lies. There was no going back to South Africa as we had spent our money getting here and living with family. Now we’re in a difficult situation, I’m unable to work because of 24 hour pain and difficulty walking, etc. If you would please pray for a job for Lester I would be so grateful. Kind regards Mandy Currie (mandycurrie@googlemail.com)
